Web Developer & Open Source Craftsman
I build things for the web with the patience of a craftsman and the stubbornness of a Gaul. PHP frameworks, curl libraries, and everything in between.
View my work ↓I'm Sebsterix, a web developer who believes that good software is like good bread — made with care, quality ingredients, and no shortcuts. I've been writing PHP since before it was cool (and after it stopped being cool, and now that it's cool again).
My work lives at the intersection of pragmatic engineering and clean design. I prefer tools that respect the developer's time and brain. If something can be made simpler without sacrificing power, that's the version I build.
When I'm not writing code, I'm probably thinking about code, or looking at old illuminated manuscripts for design inspiration.
A lightweight PHP framework crafted for developers who want structure without the bloat. Brioche is buttery smooth — opinionated where it matters, flexible where it counts.
A fluent PHP wrapper for cURL that makes HTTP requests as readable as plain English. No more arrays of constants, no more cryptic options — just clean, chainable calls.
"Code is written once and read a thousand times. Write it for the reader, not the compiler."
Craftsmanship
Every function, every variable name, every abstraction is a deliberate choice. I treat code the way a woodworker treats a joint — invisible when done right, obvious when done wrong.
Clarity
Complex problems deserve elegant solutions, not clever ones. If you need a comment to explain what the code does, the code should probably be rewritten.
Open Source
Software that grows in the open grows stronger. Every bug report, PR, and star is a thread in a larger tapestry. I build in public because the web gave me everything I know.
Have a project in mind, a question about Brioche or Moustache, or just want to talk PHP? I'm all ears.
